Meet the Lost Girls

  • Julie | Co-Owner

Julie brings a complete arsenal to the table—not just with color, but an understanding of the balance of interiors, and the choices in design that make people feel good when they walk into a space. She is a genius at color play and bringing together unexpected and exciting combinations with balance and grace.

She steps up to the challenge, even when others would walk away. She is fearless and confident in the concepts she is bringing to life, able to find a design solution to any task, and has an unbelievable ability to problem solve on the fly.

She manages to stay on trend while continuously creating timeless design.

“Julie is dynamic, magnetic, with just the right amount of fierceness. Her fire is translated into beautiful design that makes you hold your breath for a moment...while you wait to make sure it is real, and not just a dream. She is the only person I would ever do this with. Plus, she’s AGELESS.”—Rachael

  • Rachael | Co-Owner

A lover of plants and flowers since youth, she knows all the tricks, loves to share her wealth of knowledge with clients and staff, and has helped a lot of big names build their empires.

She is a visionary who thrives on challenge; if a client wants it, Rachael will make it happen. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are 100% happy.

She has an enduring love for flowers and Kaua’i, which she passionately pours into Lost Girls. Rachael sees natural beauty everywhere, and knows how to bring the effortlessness of nature into an event space.

“Rachael is a flower OG. She can fix a sink and then make you a gorgeous bouquet. She makes Lost girls a jack-of-all-trades, and she is well respected in the industry for exactly that.” —Julie

  • Donna | Lost & Found: Donna the Wonder Dog

Running the streets of Chicago with her baby in tow—and no owners to be found—Donna was in rough shape and needed surgery, medication, and lots of love when Julie found her. Shortly after recovering and settling into her new life, Donna developed Lupus and lost mobility in her front paws.

But—being the fighter (and biter) that she is—Donna went from a hard-knock-life, to living her BEST life with her mama on Kauai.

Now she has six beds, a stroller and a whole lot of attitude. She loves air travel, the beach, swimming, kayaking, and going to work (mostly because she prefers to have her mama in sight at all times. [And for those left wondering—her baby was adopted by Julie’s brother, and also lives a good life in the suburbs of Chicago.]
